Owned and operated by locals, Michael and Suzanne Bilodeau, the Sagamore Inn has been feeding and sheltering Cape visitors and residents since 1900. Since then it's been through a fire, two world wars and a slew of owners.
Joseph and Shirley Pagliarani bought the restaurant in 1963, making the local landmark famous for seafood platters, Italian pasta dishes and "Shirl's Yankee Pot Roast. The Bilodeaus continue the legacy started by Joe and Shirley. Many of the cooks still remain as do the soups, chowder, pasta sauces and inn favorites like veal parmesan.
